This looks like a powerful book. I see from looking in my library's catalog that it was orginally published as a memoir in 1995. I'm sure the new graphic format will bring a lot of new readers to the story. I look forward to reading it. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much for sharing this book in graphic novel form, I did not know. I have read more than once my newly published copy Geoff gave me shortly after it came out- this is indeed exciting to read of the new format.


My husband is, for lack of a better phrase, an education reform consultant. The more attention Geoff Canada gets, the easier it is for my husband to convince municipalities to invest in community-wide services that support school-age children.
