Miss K

This is one of my favorite series. My students got to interview Tom Angleberger via Skype and he was absolutely wonderful (even when the kids told him he was a lot like Dwight).

He is a little bit like Dwight, at least in one way - not a big hugger! But such a great guy. I think these books are so tone-perfect because he really pays attention to kids. He listens, he hears, he appreciates, he questions. Any kid who has ever met him feels like they're buddies now.
